Job Posting: Seattle Magazine Managing Editor
Tiger Oak Publications seeks full-time editor with at least four years of experience editing consumer magazines, weeklies or newspapers or web sites to work on Seattle Magazine. ME works closely with editorial director, art director and other editors to shape editorial content. Ideal candidate stays current with (and will edit and assign stories about) local cultural, health and travel trends, city news, local education trends and politics, but also feels comfortable with lifestyle topics including food, fashion, shopping, and entertainment. Must possess incredible multitasking and organizational skills: this position maintains editorial production workflow, oversees cover stories such as Top Doctors, Most Influential People, Best Neighborhoods, and manages interns. Sense of humor and snappy, smart writing a must. Salary DOE.
