Mai is a business reporter for the Yakima Herald-Republic, which covers several counties in South Central Washington state. She covers a variety of topics from retail and restaurants to economic development. She currently serves as president of the William O. Douglas chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, which provides programming for journalists throughout Central Washington.
