Editorial Producers, CNN Int’l- Atlanta (turnerjobs.com req# 109924, 110396)

– 3-5 years News Producing in a top 20 market

– Subject matter expert on international news and issues

Duties: Producers are responsible for at least two and sometimes 3 programs per shift. The Producer must structure the rundown, decide on story elements, coordinate with their supervisor on live shot request, assign writers and copy editors, and handle breaking news. The producer also coordinates with the assignment desks, graphics department, writers and copyeditors to bring the news program to air.

Sr. Copy Editor, CNN Int’l – Atlanta (turnerjobs.com req# 110398)

-Minimum 7 years experience in News production.
-At least 5 years full-time writing, at least 2 years copy editing for broadcast news
-Thorough understanding of international news and issues.
-Experience Writing or Producing for International news a significant plus!
-Excellent communication skills mastery of style and fonts
-Bilingual/Multilingual a significant plus
-Must have permanent work authorization in the United States

Duties: The candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of international news and show an ability to fine tune copy into accurate, conversational and creative scripts. As the Senior Copy Editor on the team the candidate must have a solid working background in television journalism, be highly organized, able to work well under pressure and provide clear, concise guidance as to what is expected of those on the writing team.

The Senior Copy Editor is primarily responsible for overseeing the quality of the writing on the shift to which they are assigned, working closely with the shift Supervisors to ensure the correct information is being relayed to writing teams at all times and that stories are being delivered to deadline.
